Meduna Family History with the Mustangs:

Grandfather Henry with Sammy
During the 1920's-30's, the Meduna Farm (pronounced Med-na) periodically took in horses to be trained, no matter the age or disposition of the animal. These horses came via railcar from the open ranges of the Western United States and bought from the Omaha Stockyards in Nebraska. Today the Mustang Outpost at 3-Strikes Ranch carries on the work that was started long ago by receiving "three-strikers" from the BLM on a regular basis.
Today, Jason carries on the tradition with the gentle and proper care that was started at the farm over 10 decades ago. He is in no hurry to find a home for any horse because he has the land and the natural horsemanship to care for these animals. Regardless of how long it takes, his training gives each horse the best chances at a good, safe life after adoption. The ranch relies heavily on donations to help as many Mustangs as possible and Jason also trains domestic horses for private individuals.
