Jason Meduna - Executive Director
Jason does all of the day to day duties in running the Ranch and the training and gentling of horses. Jason learned to train horses from his Grandfather when he was 14 years old and worked at one of the country’s leading Arabian farms training, gentling and exercising the horses. Jason has hands on experience with farm machinery and livestock.
Jason is also an accomplished, self-taught artist who paints images from both the Old West and his daily experiences capturing the emotion and beauty of life in the Sand Hills. His works hang in the homes and offices of many advocates of the wild Mustang, as well as retirement homes in the local communities.
Anissa Meduna - President
Anissa has worked in the medical profession for 10 years. Anissa is a Certified Nurses Aide, Medication Aide, Phlebotomist, and Certified in CPR. Anissa has learned about training horses from Jason Meduna.
Amanda Davis - Vice President
Born and raised in London, England, Amanda moved to Boston, MA in 1995 and then to Evergreen, CO in 2002. She is a Certified Project Management Professional with 18 years experience in the Information Technology field. Amanda found 3-Strikes Ranch through the Colorado mustang community and relocated her two mares, Topaz and Wyomie to the Ranch in May 2008. She has previously served on the board for a horse rescue in Colorado. Amanda has attended horsemanship clinics by Ray Hunt and Anna Twinney and is currently an apprentice trainer working with Jason Meduna at 3-Strikes Ranch. Amanda s passion is training horses, specifically mustangs.
Liz Lee - Treasurer
Liz is the Co-owner and manager of Dobby's Frontier Town in Alliance, NE. Liz has been a founding member of Dobby's Frontier Town in Alliance Since 1987 and is manager of daily operations. She has been a contributing member of Carhenge for 15 years and her photography efforts have been seen in various news publications all over the country.
Liz is the 3 Strike Ranch photographer and co-writer of the 3 Strikes blog.
Kristy Heidorn - Secretary
Kristy was raised in a military family and is a military spouse. Kristy owned her first horse when she was 8 years old, and has always had an interest in horses. Kristy went to college for Equine Management and utilizes formal and practical knowledge in caring for her own horses on a daily basis. Kristy is a horse advocate on a practical level, and does what she can to assist horses in need. Kristy’s family is involved in 4H activities and works together as a team. Kristy’s husband, Garry Heidorn is in the U.S. Army active duty, and her daughters are Haley, 16, Brandy, 11, and Gracie 4.
