History

Meduna (pronounced Medna) Family History with the Mustangs:

During the 1920's-30's, the Meduna Farm took in Mustangs brought from the Omaha Stockyards in Nebraska. We trained and sold them. The stockyards received the wild horses via railcar from the open ranges of the Western United States. The farm periodically took in a few horses to be trained, no matter the age or disposition of the animal. With gentle and proper care, they were trained. Today, the Mustang Outpost is located in the Western Nebraska Sand Hills at 3-Strikes Ranch. The 3-Strikes Ranch is a working ranch. The ranch takes in "three-strikers" from the BLM on a regular basis and the horses are trained, just like they were many years ago. The 3-Strikes Ranch is working with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) program, promoting the adoption of the wild horse. Jason also trains domestic horses for private individuals to help support the ranch.
